Determination of Serum Cholinesterase in Normal Koreans by a Rapid Micro-method

Abstract
|
|
|
The serum cholinesterase levels of normal adults from 18 years old to 50 years old were investigated. Of these normal adults, there are 74 males and 42 females. Most of them are from 18 years to 30 years.
The determinations were carried by Garry and Routh´g method.
The results were analyzed statistically and the value is 9. 0±3 in males and 8.0±2 in females. The conclusion reached that the value for males is higher than the value for females and this micro method is well suited to routine laboratory procedures.
